Fincher and classic genre Amazing film, amazing cast, amazing plot, amazing directing. At the first viewing, the film keeps in suspense all the time. The brutal scenes of murders, the religious motive of the killer, whose identity is kept secret until the very end (it is this plot technique that always made you watch films of this kind to the end), ordinary detectives with an unusual case - Fincher created his masterpiece in terms of detective thrillers.
Morgan Freeman, as always, as a good old cop retiring. It seems to be a banal role, however, to judge him for this does not want. Not yet such a megapopular Brad Pitt without his pompous roles ala "Troy" perfectly starred in Fincher both in this film and in "Fight Club". And of course, Kevin Spacey, whose role is tiny, but so insightful. What is his monologue about his crimes, which you listen to and believe him, considering him really not so guilty?
The script is good in part because of its harsh and unpredictable ending. A movie that must be seen.
